Privacy Policy

Who we are

A & G MARKETING PTY LTD operates fotags.com and handles the lawn and garden enquiries submitted through it. Our ABN is 99 693 219 788. You can contact us about privacy at [email protected].

Information we collect

When you submit an enquiry, we collect your first name, email address, suburb, postcode, selected services and any timing preferences or description you provide. If you choose to provide a phone number, we collect that number and your preferred contact method.

We also record when the request was received, the version of the collection notice shown to you, and your request to be contacted. If you arrive from an advertisement, the submitted request may include campaign identifiers and a click identifier from the page URL. We use these to understand which advertising brought the enquiry.

Our website and delivery systems may record technical information such as IP address, browser information, request times and error or security events. We use this information to operate the site, prevent abuse and investigate delivery problems.

Please do not include payment information, identity documents, health information, gate codes or other sensitive details in the form.

Why we collect it

We use your information to review the work you have requested, check availability, contact you, prepare or arrange a quote and organise work you agree to. We also use relevant records to respond to questions, handle complaints, maintain security and meet legal obligations.

The required fields help us identify the request, check its location and respond. If you do not provide them, we may be unable to assess or reply to your enquiry. You may contact us by email instead, although we may still need similar details to help you.

Who can receive it

Information may be accessed by our authorised staff and contractors who help us review enquiries, prepare quotes or carry out agreed work. We may also use service providers for website hosting, form delivery, email and technical support. Their access should be limited to the information needed for that purpose.

We may disclose information where required or permitted by law, or where reasonably necessary to address a security incident or legal claim.

We do not sell your enquiry to unrelated businesses. We do not send it to a list of independent providers for unsolicited quotes.

Processing locations

Our website, form delivery and email arrangements can involve service providers that process information outside Australia. The locations depend on the suppliers and settings used for those services. You can contact us to ask about the arrangements relevant to your information.

Marketing and advertising measurement

Submitting a service request does not subscribe you to promotional emails or texts. We use the contact details you provide to respond to that request and any work you agree to.

The initial version of this website does not load advertising pixels, behavioural analytics or session recordings. Campaign identifiers submitted with an enquiry are used internally to understand the source of requests. See Cookies & Measurement for more information.

If advertising tracking is introduced, we will update these notices and any required choices before it is enabled. We do not place your form answers, email address or phone number in analytics events or page URLs.

How long we keep information

For enquiries that do not become work, our standard retention period is 90 days after the last contact, unless information is needed for an unresolved complaint, security issue or legal requirement. Records related to agreed work may be kept longer where needed for service, accounting or legal obligations.

Operational security logs are normally kept for up to 30 days, except where relevant to an active incident. Copies in backups are removed through the applicable backup rotation rather than immediately. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information. These include secure transmission, access controls and limiting access to people who need it. No internet or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Access, correction and contact preferences

You can ask us to access or correct personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. You can also ask us to stop following up your enquiry or request deletion. We may need to verify your identity, and legal or record-keeping obligations may affect what we can delete.

Please do not send identity documents unless we explain why verification is needed and agree on a suitable method.

Complaints

If you are concerned about how we handled your information, email [email protected] with the subject Privacy complaint. Describe the concern and your preferred way for us to respond. We will review it and explain our response.

You can also find information about Australian privacy rights and complaints through the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or information handling arrangements change. The current version and its effective date will be published on this page.
